Meet Dr. Marjorie Slass
I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. My goal is to create a space where women feel comfortable exploring challenges, building resilience, and creating meaningful change.
My passion for supporting others began with an undergraduate degree is in Psychology (with a minor in Early Childhood/Elementary Education). I hold New Jersey State Certifications in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and to practice as a School Psychologist.
After a career in both Early Childhood and Elementary teaching, I left to start a family, but with the goal to one day pursue a career in Clinical Psychology. Once my children were in school, I resumed my education, earning graduate degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Educational Psychology, and ultimately, a Doctor of Psychology degree in a combined program of Clinical and School Psychology.
After passing the NJ Boards, I became a practitioner in the non-profit sector, working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Today, in my private practice, Therapy for Women, I am able to focus solely on my passion for helping women to lead the happiest, most fulfilling lives possible.
